we are cronn
We are cronn – a Bonn-based software development company with branches in Hamburg and Białystok, Poland. Software development is our passion. We trust in Java, OpenSource and, last but not least, in our experienced team. All of this we deploy to bring our clients software that is key to their business, or to professionally consult them in issues regarding architecture, tools or approaches.
What tasks await you
- You will support enterprise software both in test and production environments
- You will search for causes of errors, find and eliminate them if possible (mostly 3rd level support)
- You will operate incident management tools and processes
If you meet the following requirements
- You are experienced administrator of Linux servers
- You also know basics of modern TCP/IP protocols
- You are familiar with opensource SQL databases like MySQL, MariaDB, or PostgresSQL
- You like to automate larger routine tasks and work with complex systems
- You are fluent English in speaking as well as in writing
- You think and act in a customer-oriented way and get to the bottom of stubborn problems
- You like to communicate not only with machines, but also with colleagues and customers
- You are curious and open-minded towards new technologies and like to adapt and add them to your toolbox
- You are willing to work on-site in our cool office in Białystok
And maybe as an add-on:
- You may have experience with any of cloud environments: AWS, GCP, Azure or OpenShift
- You may have worked as a software developer with OO languages (Java or Python)
- You may have knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code, virtualization, configuration management, and have mastered corresponding tools - such as Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker or Ansible
- You may have experience with Jira, Git, Gradle, Jenkins, Oracle Database and Microservices
- You may have German language awareness on any level
